I'm the founder of Urban Lab, a research thinktank, and city planning consultancy based in Tokyo. Prior to this, I was senior analyst of Wunderman. a global creative firm, where I engaged in global creative & marketing strategy practice.
I specialise in making strategy or master-plan, using data-analysis and qalitative research. The strategy-making helps not only business but also city planning and policymaking by public sector.
I believe that creativity and spontaneity will lead the city of future, and that they come not from great artists but from the each citizen or local comunity with bottom-up. Thus, I also have engaged social infrastructure & platform for the grassroots, including FabLab Japan Network, which was awarded Good Design Award in 2012, the most major design-award in Japan.
